Shrimp & Crawfish & Okra Seafood Jambalaya

Ingredients

Prep Time: 20 minutes.
Cook Time: 30 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
  • 1/2 cup Rice.
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup Green Pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Okra, cut ( Cut Frozen will do )
  • 1/4 lb Crawfish ( fresh or frozen, thawed )
  • 1/4 lb fresh or frozen, peeled and deveined Shrimp.
  • 2 cans Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 tbsp Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Zataran's Creole Seasoning
  • Cayenne Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups water

To make the seasoning, add the Salt, Black Pepper, Creole Seasoning, and Cayenne pepper to 1 can of Chicken Broth and mix.

Put all ingredients in a 3 qt pan, Bring to a boil, then cook on medium high for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn to low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
